What is the UKCA certification?
Hi-Level Mezzanines has recently been awarded the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking as part of the ongoing quality accreditation that underpins the service that we offer to all customers.
The UKCA is a certification mark that indicates conformity with the applicable requirements for products sold within Great Britain. In this instance, it is for the mezzanine floors that Hi-Level designs and delivers to exacting customer requirements.
What does the UKCA cover?
This certification covers all Hi-Level structural steel mezzanine floors that are destined for UK based businesses.
Any products that are for companies based in the EU, Hi-Level will continue using the CE marking system.
What are the changes with UKCA?
UKCA requirements will mirror the CE marking rules which means that the manufacturer’s name and address must be on the product, packaging, or associated documentation.
When is this live?
The UKCA system will be live for all UK companies from 1st January 2022. Hi-Level will phase in the changes to documentation to ensure adherence to deadlines.
